Welcome to a webinar with Climate Live

How can activists collaborate with artists and festivals to build a bigger movement for climate action, justice and peace?

Since 2021, Climate Live Sweden – sprung from the Fridays For Future-movement – has teamed up with artists and music festivals as well as scientists and indigenous communities, trying to find ways to convey a message of unity and well-being for people and the planet. We have explored different forms of artistic activism and advocacy, as well as disobedience and disruption of business as usual.

Now, as our project – Artistic activism & advocacy – ends, and a new one – Fan activism for climate justice – begins, we invite you to an educational and interactive online session. During one hour we will:

• share concrete examples of how we have supported artists and fans to put climate justice on the agenda through the power of music
...including stories from Roskilde Festival (DK), Rosendal Garden Party (SE), Göteborg Film Festival (SE), Håkan Hellström's 20-year anniversary and Bob Hunds' final tour.
• share key learnings, do's and don'ts
• host a Q&A and discussion around fan activism and future initiatives
